answer is twofold,

for reading, teachers may repeat the screening twice provided the teacher must
repeat the lesson,

screening.

the screening must be conducted by optionist however if a school does not have any optionist it
is up to the administrator to appoint the most qualified teacher to conduct the
screening.

constructs have been formulated by the Lembaga Peperiksaan Malaysia. The constructs have been
tested over 100 schools and approved by the Examination Board. The constructs
are specially designed to evaluate all necessary skills at all level.

•Assess
pupils continuously even he/she couldn’t achieved any of the construct. Drill
the pupils with similar subject matter and teachers may use the Module Book 1
for exercises.

Topic : Sound Around Us KSSR
Focus : Listening & Speaking Lesson was delivered. 25 pupils were able to
Content Standard : 1.1 understand the lesson. 15 pupils needed
Learning Standard : 1.1.1 (a), (f), (g) further guidance.
Objectives : At the end of the lesson, the pupils should be able to:
1) listen to and respond to letters of the alphabet with guidance
2) listen to and respond to environmental and voice sounds with guidance
3) oral blending into recognisable words.
Screening/Linus:
1) screening for Construct 1,2 and 3 targeting 10 pupils Screening/LINUS
Reading Screening
Activities:
1) teacher says aloud the letters of the alphabet and pupils follow Construct 1-3
2) teacher says aloud the sound of letters and pupils follow 10/10 completed
3) teacher does oral blending using word examples 8 mastered
Screening/Linus: 2 not mastered
1) Administer screening in group of 3 pupils
